英格兰地区

伦敦

帝国理工学院位于英国伦敦地区，是英国的金融与政治中心，因此在消费方面相较于其他地区也会更高;根据帝国理工学院提供的数据，伦敦地区留学生的生活费大概为15,200英镑一年，其中住宿费为9400英镑左右、餐饮费为2600英镑、出行费1150英镑每月、其他休闲娱乐费2100英镑每月。综上所述，帝国理工学院的生活费和住宿费大约在每年13万元人民币左右。

而同在伦敦的UCL则因为地理位置的关系相对于帝国理工较低，根据校方提供的参考数据，UCL的生活费和住宿费大约在每年11.2万元人民币左右。

因此，在伦敦地区读书一年的生活成本在11-13万人民币左右。

牛津

尽管牛津大学所在的地区不在伦敦，但牛津城的花费算是英国留学中的“贵族”了。牛津大学生活花费真的是因人而异的，根据牛津大学给出的数据，2020年度，牛津大学学生的生活费将在每月1135英镑至1650英镑之间。

其中包括了食物、住宿、个人花销、社交、学习费用及其他杂费。当然这里说的仅仅是普通生活那种，如果你过得很小资的，就完全不具备参考价值了。牛津地区的生活费和住宿费大约在每年12.4万元人民币左右。

曼彻斯特

曼彻斯特是英格兰五大城市之一，它一直被认为是英国最适宜学生居住的地方之一。负担得起的生活成本使得曼彻斯特这个城市成为学生们既可以享受大城市繁华，又不必付出太多金钱的理想选择。

格拉斯哥

爱丁堡地区以爱丁堡大学闻名。前往爱丁堡读书的同学基本上都是以爱丁堡大学作为理想院校的。在爱丁堡读书一年的生活成本和格拉斯哥相似，在10万人民币左右。爱丁堡的气候特点是风大，冬天有点冷，到春夏天开始变暖，但整体还是比较宜居的。

从城市尺度的角度说，爱丁堡城市也非常适合居住，街道的宽窄比较适合步行，从主校区走到爱丁堡的high street王子街只需要15分钟。

根据爱丁堡大学给出的标准，每个月的花费大约在1000镑左右，也就是在爱丁堡的花费大约在一年10万元人民币。

威尔士地区

相对于英格兰的繁荣与都市化，威尔士在自然景致、风土民情及语言文化就显得更为乡村化，自然在花费上也更“淳朴”。

卡迪夫

卡迪夫是威尔士的首府，也是世界重要的工业中心，这里以民风淳朴和优美的自然风光而备受关注。在卡迪夫读书也是非常经济实惠的，卡迪夫大学给出的2020预算为每年花费为8934英镑，约合7.5万元人民币。比起牛津大学的花费预算简直便宜了一辆车啊!其中租房占了一大半，为5000英镑多，但是包含了各种水电费bill在里面，总体来很便宜。

北爱尔兰地区

Marbles网站曾经评出贝尔法斯特是对学生来说最实惠的英国城市之一，比曼彻斯特、爱丁堡、利兹和纽卡斯尔便宜，生活成本比伦敦低28%。

贝尔法斯特

这里以英国女王大学而出名!根据贝尔法斯特大学给出的估算，学生一年花销为￡5500-7000，即不到6万元人民币，是英国少数留学成本极低的地区了。
